The features of the humanoid robot development in Hajime Research Institute are the following.

1) All sizes of humanoid robots from small to huge can be developed.

We have development experience of humanoid robots of the following sizes.
Height 40 cm small size humanoid robot,
Height 1 meter medium size humanoid robot,
Height 2 meter human size (life-size) humanoid robot,
Height several meters huge size humanoid robot,

When the size of the robot are different, there are differences in the power of the actuators (servo motors) for driving a joint of the robot’s.
We can design all sizes of the humanoid robots using the optimum servo motors of small, lightweight and high power.
It is because we developed our original servo motor units for the robots, when the commercially available servo motors are not fit.

When the size of the robot are different, there are differences in the optimum frame structure of the robot (skeleton).
We can design all sizes of the humanoid robots using the optimum frame structure of lightweight and high rigidity of the robot.
In the structure of the robot, there are sheet metal of aluminum, sheet metal and iron, carbon plate (CFRP plate) and carbon honeycomb (CFRP honeycomb), a variety of aluminum BOX structure, iron of square pipe, due to a combination of ultra-thin, and their combination structure.

2) We have technology of humanoid robot development by designing 50 types and 200 bodies or more, and have experiences of robot competition champion, and TV appearances.

We started developing a humanoid robot in 2002 and have already developed 50 types and 200 bodies or more of the humanoid robots.

We can design for different sizes and different required specifications of humanoid robots.
We select a small, lightweight, and high output optimum actuator (servo motor) by the robot simulation.
We design a lightweight and high rigidity optimum frame structure of the robot by the structural analysis simulation.

We have experiences of robot battle champion, robot soccer tournament championship, and TV appearances.

3) Manufacturing professional factories and we have been developing humanoid robots together more than 10 years.

Manufacturing technology is essential in the development of the robot.
The manufacturing professional factories (“Nishiyodogawa management improvement study group (NKK)”) and we made a robot project.
Our monthly meeting for discussing the idea of robot development has been held more than 10 years and more than 100 times. And we have technical know-how related to robot production.
